"Subject to Change" Demo Release - A Silent Hill inspired Horror.
A downloadable game for Windows
"SUBJECT TO CHANGE"
"STC" is a small college project made by 4 College Students aiming to recreate the horrors and feeling of the original PS1 Silent Hill and Resident Evil games into a short Demo with an original plot. This game is apart of our FMP Project which was worked on throughout the course of 12 weeks. If you stumble upon this game please leave your thoughts below!
You will play as Michael Beckham. A simple yet intelligent man. He is a humble detective trying to take a vacation at the other side of the city. However, everything seemed quiet... It felt isolating. He decided to go on his own adventure to see where everyone could be. Little did he know, this was just the beginning of the end.
This Demo Features:
- Unique environments
- Twisted Monsters
- Tank Controls
- Basic Combat
- A Short Campaign
- And a massive hit of Nostalgia for the both PS1 veterans and newcomers
Credits:
Rigging and Movement Animations for the Characters are handled within Mixamo. All animation rights go to Adobe.

Hi, I'm sorry that this demo is not up to your standard. Unfortunately this is all we managed to do given the time and our small team. Bare in mind this was our first ever proper game project as a whole and we did only have 6 weeks to develop this within college and we're still really proud of it. The controls are hard to get used to but I assure you they are not backwards, it's just a matter of perspective (aswell as using both the keyboard and mouse). And also there isn't any immediate plans to update this game unless people would like us to. While you could've said it a little nicer, thank you for the criticism!
We were going for tank controls where you primarily use the mouse to control the character. I'm sorry for the inconvenience the esc keybind may have caused you but we didn't have time to make a pause menu and we felt that pressing escape is better than having to alt+f4 the game to quit as a quick solution.
Dude, you really are going too far and are acting more petty than anybody I've come across in this community. Like "real name Josh," WTF is wrong with you?? That is not OK. You are 100% in the wrong here. You and him disagree about games. So what? Get over it and move on with your life. Oh and "hateful and bigoted" is a total lie and you know that! I really didn't want to get involved in this, and I won't be responding anymore, so don't waste you're time replying, but someone needed to tell you how petty you are acting. I can't believe I'm having to come into the comment section of somebody's game to do this, and I am truly sorry to the dev, but Nevin is absolutely unhinged, and I would delete this entire comment thread because it doesn't belong here. Again, I am sorry White Tech Games
I am sorry, who are you?
First of all, don't get involved in something that you clearly don't understand. Second, the person, whom I replied and who has a YouTube channel, publicly speaks to many viewers and addresses his name. It is not like I gave out a secret about them, not at all. He has more than 50 posts and even those, who aren't part of the itch.io community can see the name, you are making complete 0 sense and using vulgar language to insult me for what reasons? Prey tell.
And finally, if you want to talk, let's talk. Otherwise, don't get involved. Thanks.
The game looks very cool but could you make this character walking or running faster is really slow but otherwise game is very good anyway well done keep it up!
hi ,, do u want to make a collaboration ??
NICE SPOOKY
